STRONG ROOTS: is a father-focused, community-based program of Integral Community Services designed to support mental wellness, emotional resilience, and stronger family relationships. Delivered in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual), STRONG ROOTS provides a safe, non-clinical, trauma-informed space where fathers and father figures can learn practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, and build supportive peer connections—without stigma or judgment.
The program serves fathers from diverse backgrounds, including general fathers, young fathers (ages 18–30), veteran fathers, and re-entry fathers navigating life transitions. Through a structured 12-week cohort model, participants engage in guided discussions, skill-building activities, and resource navigation to strengthen father–child connection, promote healthy co-parenting and relationships, and build sustainable support systems.
STRONG ROOTS equips fathers with the tools to manage stress, respond to challenges with clarity, and lead their families with stability and confidence—because strong fathers help build strong families and stronger communities.
