Healthcare Access and Literacy

Integral Community Services provides Health Care Access and Literacy services that help individuals and families understand, navigate, and effectively use healthcare and social service systems. These services include education on healthcare options, insurance coverage, and eligibility requirements; assistance understanding Medicaid, marketplace plans, and other public benefit programs; and guidance on establishing and maintaining primary and preventive care.

We support individuals in navigating provider networks, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care, while also offering education on patient rights, responsibilities, and informed decision-making. Through one-on-one coaching and community-based education, we strengthen health literacy and help individuals confidently engage with healthcare systems. In addition, we connect clients to community-based resources that support overall health and wellness, promoting continuity of care, self-sufficiency, and improved health outcomes.
